Company gets parted out piece by piece, government bailout, merge with another telco but would cause trust issues, death by papercuts, or bankrupcity. Just sumed up the sink ship. No way to fix this thanks DEI. This place is a joke. No one has had a orginal idea in years.

There will be no mergers nor acquisitions. As the current practices by the FTC, any amalgamation will not be allowed as it is for all of corporate America -- accentuated by this current administration, blue/woke, occupying the Oval Office.

Not going to happen. FCC wants 4 telcos, so we will not be allowed to merge with anyone. Might be bought, but no merger will happen.
Woke is an adjective derived from African-American Vernacular English (AAVE) meaning "alert to racial prejudice and discrimination". I love being woke because it means the person spewing it is asleep or part of the maga cult.

OP: Sadly, agree, as I am also as pessimistic. Hope that everything works out for the best is not a strategic plan. Eternal hope does not give you a second chance. There are some truly decent employees who work for Verizon and their livelihoods which are negatively impacted.
