Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

Share price is at a 52 week high

Doesnt sound like a company about to make massive layoffs.

Has the VMWare deal gone through yet as that is a wad of cash waiting for an owner?

And nothing bucks that price up better than the sweet, sweet sound of the Dell Bus driving over freshly made ex-Dell employees.

Regarding the VMware / Broadcom deal. Regulators keep delaying their approval. Now targeting Aug for closing, but could be push out even latter.

Then the gal that took his place is doing it. That's how they keep the price inflated

A lot of senior management have left.
Thats always a bad sign.
Tell dell wont make a difference either as they want us to leave so they dont have to pay us out.

You do realize that Sweet has been retired at the end of Q2 of this year.

Because Sweet is buying back stock with the money saved from the non-stop layoffs over the last few years. Eventually, the music will stop and no chairs are left standing.

All of that goodness is for the guys at the top sitting around sponging off of your hard work. Nothing but scraps for the worker bees to fight over as usual. Just like how profits were at an all time high in the pandemic yet basic benefits were frozen.

Meanwhile staff moral is at an all time low.
