I work for AT&T. Here’s why you should never buy anything from AT&T except via self service online.

I never give att any of my hard earned money. I enjoy telling the overly aggressive sales people at costco and sams that I don't buy anything from att and they smile and say I understand.

"I relish every downvote. Each one is an indicator of a looming home foreclosure. A bitter divorce follows when the fraud tap is turned off at AT&T and little Mrs. doesn't have the life she was accustomed to."

Of course you do. You just described your own miserable life and it makes perfect sense you have nothing better to do.

"I agree with their post. I’ve been into a cor store twice. Both times they stuck on insurance and Next onto my bill. Even though I specifically asked them not too. They’re all Unscrupulous. Mail order only."

Every time I buy something at a store (rarely), I always go online or call care to check my plan and all the features, and immediately undo all the changed they were specifically asked not to make but made anyway. It got so bad, they know you're an AT&T employee, and still slam features onto your account. And if they don't, they get in trouble. It's a shame. You actually get into more trouble in COR if you don't slam a feature, or add a line onto someone's plan, than if you do, so the math is fairly easy for them.

"What is a he/she????"

It means it can be a dude or a chick, we don't know. Not a kind of pronoun you're used to seeing?

Mobility is commodity. AT&T is not a "wireleshh" company as Randy mispronounced wireless some years ago. We have moved on to destroy other companies and AT&T will not stop until AT&T is the most indebted company in the history of American Capitalism.
Wait, what I think we are there!

A 3 year old post by a deleted reddit user... yes, very reliable information. LOL

No, it is reliable. The mobility arm of AT&T operates on fraud, and has for far too long. Try as you like to deny it, but AT&T can't afford this anymore. The broom is sweeping and will tidy up. Stock price will rise in 2024 when all of the grifters are purged from AT&T.

There is and has never been any fraud in COR mobility stores. Sales managers are just too honest and their directors expect the highest of integrity. Move along, nothing to see here.
I am certain with the financial pressures on mobility, integrity will be front and center going forward like never before.

With that said, as an AT&T employee, you could not melt and pour me into a AT&T COR store for anything.
I read with great satisfaction about the layoffs in mobility sales upper management. Could not happen to "better" people and is long, long past due. A lot of fraudulent fat to be not trimmed, but carved deeply out of this company.

Well, he/she is likely not a troll, but someone who was probably getting some hard time at their COR job for not meeting quotas, and not because they weren't good, but because they were uncomfortable with what they were forced to do. I guarantee they don't work there anymore, and you have to be ready to give up some of your humanity and integrity to be successful in retail. What they posted, even if it is 3 years old, is true, or at least was back then. And for many years before. I'm telling you this as someone who worked in COR for almost 10 years before moving to another management position.
