New structure, same problems from what it looks like.
I’d be surprised if it comes to TX unless it is going to be virtual or a new to VZ campus. Half of hidden ridge went to some other company and the building across the road that at one point was rumored to be more verizon (IT Hub?) is a natural gas company.
Bet you by the end of the year, Verizon Basking Ridge site will be leaner than any year before. Why? Because customers have many other choices (providers) at a much cheaper rate with bundling packages like TV/Internet/Home Phone + Mobile at $10 to $15 a month . I also wouldn't be surprised if the headquarter was moved to Texas where all the other major providers are located.

Waste of money when they have all this empty office space.Only thing they are good for is spending money. Fun fact you cannot spend your way out of this. Government bailout incoming. $160 billion in debt just under $5billion in cash not even enough to the pay the interest.
Reorg obviously but the details are being held very tight, hence the in person Boston meeting instead of basking ridge to keep it very safe from other prying eyes. Boston is mostly IT people no ops people. So it's probably not good.
