I see the 15 minute meetings on managers calendar, but do not see anyone in our department with matching notice.

I did not turn on video. The LL4 did but I didn't. And I used my company phone for that meeting. I figured I'd let the company pay for that cellular data and not use my home wifi while the fire me lol.

For those of you who have gone thru this, do you turn on video during the meeting or audio only?
These are scheduled timeslots held for when where they call you into a meeting to tell you your fate. No one schedules meetings with their employees days in advance to let them go.
When it happens, you will be asked to join a meeting (or hey', call into this meeting IM/impromptu meeting not on your calendar, but a timeslot that is in the LL5 calendar) and that is where you will get a word-for-word termination followed 100% to the letter for legality reasons. Just like our townhalls.
These are what is put together by HR/legal dept. It's nothing personal as the company must be 100% and not veer off track with anyone so they don't face lawsuits.
** Also, if you do get laid off, FILE FOR UNEMPLOYMENT IMMEDIATELY. If you wait 5 weeks to do it, you will lose those weeks of pay as this is not a retroactive benefit. If there is anything you pick up from reading these sites, don't hesitate on "filing for unemployment insurance" with the state and plenty on the internet if you search it out.

they wouldn't schedule the meetings a night before lol, they barely gave us a notice for todays meeting

These are clearly meetings between HR, manager and employee to be terminated. Not a single employee in our department has a similar meeting on their calendar as if the meeting has not been sent to those being terminated. Just placeholders on the managers calander with HR.
