Remember the MDU fiber project, AKA fiber to nowhere? AT&T connected every section 8 apartment complex it could find in order meet "units" passed with fiber. Did we gain any fiber customers from that. No, we did not.

How is this a bad thing?
It's has become a welfare company that cannot exist without government support. This is the reason they don't care about debt or success of the company.
They will win either way because the government will just give them more money in the form of bogus contracts. I'm sure Randy, John, and all their cronies made billions in some kinda back door scheme with their failed acquisitions. Too big to fail.
