I know two people who were let go in prior layoffs and were hired by Ford again. One of them was very talented, the other was a nice person but couldn’t do their job when given step by step instructions. I believe they get around the “never work at Ford again” with a LL4 signature.
I don't know if the layoff itself is a blacklist - but accepting the severance package IS the blacklist. There is a specific clause that says you may never work for Ford again

So a lay off is an automatic black list?
If you get laid off, I don't believe you're allowed to work at Ford again.
Until the coders get replaced by AI.
So can you immediately apply if to a different department if you we're laid off?
