When the strategy is bad, it is impossible to expect that the future will be any better. That's why I'm finally ready to leave this place.
Even if I survive these cuts, working here would be like walking on eggs because I would constantly fear that I would end up on the list for the next cuts. Is that much stress worth it? I think not.

One would have go be an id--t to hire into this mess now...
Reduced headcount last year, started hiring externally in powertrain at least this year, hiring freeze hit 2 months ago, now reductions. It’s obvious Farley has no plan, why hire for ICE jobs and then layoff a few months later? No plan.
Probably the right call. I'm guessing they're cutting 2000ish this round and will do a few more rounds the next few years. If you feel like you're on the edge, might be best to get out there before the market gets worse.
