I plan to RTO until I find something else, but I’m not having to relocate. We are already getting more work and responsibilities dumped on us and are expected to work ridiculous hours. Already interviewing at a couple places and have more lined up. Most jobs pay significantly more and are 9-5 vs what I’m dealing with now, but we’ll see when the offers come.

Stankey said after the announcement they expect 15,000 fewer people to be with the company by the end of the year or something along those lines. If they don’t get there with operation Pack Your Bags or GTFO you better believe they will lay people off to make that target and then some. Remember this is a cost cut/layoff with the culture/RTO BS used to try to cover that up.

Percentage is probably low until they confirm or claw back severance for the non-hub folk. I don't have access to the water cooler or elevator so I can't tell you what the vibe is in the office. I imagine morale is pretty low and people are putting out resumes.

Way too early. Job market is tightening up. If you are being asked to relocate, nobody has had to officially respond to that. If you are in ATS, the official notice will not be sent until late summer with you response expected after that. Assuming it is significant, most will stay until they get their severance. Even those being requested to relocate will likely stay as long as they can while they look for a job. Nobody is walking away from their job.

I' ll say 15%, which is the people I know leaving, People just want to provide a service and get paid for it. All the corporate politics and intimidation tactics are what turn off current/new employees. Let me do my work in peace. This is why people love fully remote work. I'm more productive, and I'm out of site and out mind from miserable bad managers, gossip, and corporate politics. It's the perfect environment at home. Twice as productive and happy. I don't promote being unprofessional, but I have seen horrible treatment of employees from employers, so I do understand that everyone has a breaking point.

Much too early for many people to have left solely due to RTO. People won't won't have to start being in office for another week and a half. Ask again in a another month or so.
