Even she was better than what we have now.

Is it only me who thinks the reason Rob Thomas' unhuman like looks is because of lack of his eyebrows in sight?

So let me make sure I have got this correct. You want the CEO who missed every major technology innovation over the past 10 years back, resulting in IBM’s market cap going down by 1/2. YEAH that’s a good idea. As Ross Perot once said “a monkey could do that” AK has the right idea (have a strategy that plays to IBM’s strengths), but to do that he needs to make some very hard decisions (restructure management to 1/2 it’s size, bring innovation to the markets they choose to play in, and exit markets that don’t serve IBM well anymore). LASTLY he needs to execute the strategy and restructuring at a much faster pace. He’s had 3 years to right size IBM, and it’s still not done. If that’s the best we can expect out of him going forward, then YES it’s time to look outside for a new CEO. Gerstner got IBM right sized and executed a new strategy in less than 18 months. AK it’s time to fish or cut bait

Time for IBM to look outside and get a CEO who knows how to run a company

if you think Arvind is bad, wait until Rob Thomas become the next CEO. He is the worst!

It's very hard to compare disasters. Would you prefer to be in car going 200 mph into a brick wall or be in an airplane at 30000 ft when the tail and one wing falls off?

Ginni was terrible and did enormous damage. (RoadMap 2015.) Arvind's grasp on reality is tenuous. (We are a cloud and AI company.)

If we lose Arvind, the likely successor is Rob Thomas. Then I promise that someone will propose bringing Arvind back.

I want a new board of directors, AK and Rob Thomas gone, and a new CEO and Rob Thomas replacement.
