Like most of these short term strategies, they fall short on execution. The people deciding these strategies are also here today and gone tomorrow and age was a target apparently. I can't tell you how many people came in to "save" IBM from ourselves. We had a unique culture that could save ourselves and shift direction quickly. Now not so much.
