Im ok with brown nosing as long as it gets you somewhere. It’s the ones that do it and get nowhere that amaze me.
Translation: Stick your nose up your manager's a$$ for success at any cost.

OP, if you had ANY creative talent, you wouldn't be working at Wells Fargo in any capacity.
Stick to spreadsheets and PowerPoints.
Wells Fargo is a 'who you know' and not 'what you know' company. I think this explains maybe all problems - i.e. Tracy Kerrins running technology.
