Ford rounds down when determining how much severance they pay you, How do I know? I had 9 years and 51 weeks of employment at Ford. Ford severance policy says 10 years employment and you will receive 4 months severance. In my case I didn't have the full 10 years and received 3 months severance.

Factoring 4wks a month, , it works out to anywhere from 1.1 to almost 1.8 weeks per year based on the years of service. Anyone less than 10 years is at the lower end of the scale, and over 10 is just a tad better (but still rubbish).
People with 5 years or less get 1 month.
6-7 goes to 2 months.
2 weeks a year? Yeah right. Not Ford.
