All you whiners on here should model after this employee. Get back to work, be a company man, and be loyal.

She was replaced by people who grew up with computers. Those who go to chatGPT to make their resumes and do not go to her to get their resumes done. She was out-shored.

You don't celebrate the people you have declared war on. If you've been here longer than Charlie he does not want you here. He'll do whatever he has to do to get rid of you, including the brown nosers who thinks their pathetic behavior will save them.

Says more about the person having no life outside the office than it being a great place to work.

"Get back to work, be a company man, and be loyal."

Tons of us were working and were loyal to the very end but got laid off anyway. The employee has no say in whether or not they are in the next layoff group.

Chainsaw probably sees her as a liability and part of the "cult" and irredeemable. An offshore person would be more trustworthy.

NARRATOR: An update to this story. Being in Allentown, the following week Mary Ziegler became a victim of her company's location strategy, though she thanks Wells Fargo for its generous severance package and hopes to make the most of her unscheduled retirement.

Corporations made us mercenaries.
They get what they deserve.

AI collapsing relationship even further.

The distrust and animosity is so entrenched at this point, we will never recover (think Putin and Wagner Group).

"awesome work/life balance". Yeah, we did. To bad we don't anymore.

Stupid thing is, I actually don't care about work life balance. I used to work the 2 hrs a day I now spend in my car. It wasn't goof off time, it was production time. Wells threw it away for no reason, so F them.
