Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Mutiny under disguise?

Kudos to the new culture where minimal efforts are now the norm. I listen where leaders rant the work that in the past would get done with extra efforts but, our needed employees are now shrugging their shoulders. Why work so hard when the greed at C level continues and workers stress our unknown future? History shows “let them eat cake “ usually beheads the kings and queens. More senior employees have shared with me our leadership goes out of their way to axe us near the end our careers just to acquire larger bonuses. I now read here and seen first hand the same. Off with their heads?

Bonus = being under one’s organization budget = easiest way is eliminating largest expenses = you

Not really new. AT&T has been less productive compared with Verizon workers. We are really over employed.

Can you elaborate on that? I know AT&T wants to lose their more senior employees but how exactly are bonuses involved?
