" I’m sure something else will eventually occupy the 1 ATT Way campus."
It will be bulldozed for houses & mixed use.

@2wcn - I’m sure something else will eventually occupy the 1 ATT Way campus. The point is for the folks needing to report to ‘Bedminster’ - there will still be an office to go to in 2024. No need to scare people with ‘possibilities in the future’.

@1npu+1npidoCe 1 AT&T Way IS closing, the NOC moved years ago. The structure was built in the late 70's, it's antiquated & in need of many repairs. The new smaller building down the road has a short lease life, as discussed at many of the township meetings.

“ Bedminster is closing & a much much smaller location leased for 1 year. ”

Bedminster is NOT CLOSING. The current ATT Way campus will not be used, but the new building is still in Bedminster, and is partly being custom built. Would I put it past them to pull the rug and do something drastic? No, but at the moment, no plans to close it ‘in a year’ have even been whispered…

Yes the new ‘campus’ is smaller, but the previous one contained a large amount of non-office spaces, such as long corridors, auditoriums, visitor center, a huge cafeteria, and a NOC center which was mostly filled with display boards. Several teams had already been relocated out of that location.
Please stop posting speculation as fact … there’s enough fear and stress about the true stuff.

@mdt+1npidoCe Why do you say San Ramon is closing? There are employees who were told last week they have to start reporting there starting 7/10. Doesn’t make sense?

Bedminster is closing & a much much smaller location leased for 1 year.
Most of MT dismantled, will be downsized to 1 building & then closed by end of 2024.

“They are closing San Ramon and LA, NJ offices by early 2024“

Has this been confirmed by a reliable source?

They are not closing NJ - neither campus is closing in 2024.

San Ramon is a massive campus

Wonder if they were able to sublease the 2 ½ floors of Bishop Ranch they put up earlier this year.

I doubt that the LA office will be closed early ‘24 considering they don’t have an LA office currently but will be opening one in the Fall. Why all that effort, sign a lease and use it for 3 months? The old El Segundo office was part of the DTV acquisition and was closed earlier this year.

San Ramon is a massive campus, I’d argue it’s larger than Dallas. Heavily populated by retail, marketing and authorized retail employees. CSuite execs, JTS included often go there for speaking sessions, townhalls for Western Markets. While I suppose it’s not off the table… it would be weird to shut it down.

Listen to the 2Q results later this month for any clues, check total number of employees after the 15th, then check back near the end of the next quarter.

Why do you ask this? No one here can list that info out in that manner. Most recent layoff was significant in Sambar organization (ACE). Those people are gone this coming Thu.
