Dearborn Campus Transformation - They knew back in 2019

The article says the new Dearborn Campus Transformation will house 20,000. That is currently 7,000 less than what we have:

You guys fail to realize that that one of the main development points for all the various campus transformation locations is to have state of the art coffee shops near or at therein entrants. This is mainly due to the, somewhat recent, cultural phenomenon of the cars and coffee events taking place. Someone in up management felt having cars and coffee 2-3 times per week would attract more talent and provide a more interesting working culture - and we all know having a strong working culture is a good thing. My understanding is there are plans to have local celebrities and sports stars attend as well. Theevents are to take place during business hours too attract the most attendees.

We've been renovating the train station for OVER FIVE YEARS already, and i5 is nowhere near ready to host weddings and a Gap store selling Ford sweatshirts. They did get the book building open, so the Canopy people can complain about paying Detroit income taxes. Huge wastes of capital.

@bul- You can't tell me, when back in 2019, when there were almost 35,000 employees in SE Michigan, that 15,000 worked outside the Dearborn area? Now we're down to 28,000. Somehow, the 20,000 number was fed to the press. The Dearborn Campus will be ready in 2026. We'll see hoe many of us are still left by then.

Duh. Remember the ' Smart Redesign ' initiated by the failure known as Jim Hackett.
It was also when Boston Consulting was contracted to identify those over 50 with pensions ( kudos to K Robinson for that and the pig gets rewarded as a ' Director of Family Vehicles ' ). C-suite at Ford plays better than Game of Thrones, Hackett failed at gaining Wall St's trust, Farley sucked up to Elena and Alexandra and throws Hinrichs under ( failed launch of Explorer, id--t! ) and becomes a freakin' CEO. Over the last decade, we cycled through 4 CEOs!!!!!!!! No mystery why this place is a disaster AND we bring in outsiders with NO understanding of manufacturing and NO proven records of success. Ford Next, great example, F Louis- Victor talks sm--k on how he monetized mobility at Renault - laughable, Mobilize is almost shut down it's a failure. He invests in the stupidity that's Canopy ( another failure led by Mor@n ( who IMO needs to be terminated ASAP ), bleeds money and no profits. Nothing. Farley is an id--t, he knows his time is ticking away - he was placed in his position to eliminate as much legacy as possible to boost the stock price. Lawler knows it as well and isn't looking to good, next year is going to be messy, especially IF the recession everyone claims is coming happens. Musgrave and D(umb) Ford as casualties of Hackett's fail and their inability to prove their value. It's a mess, a very expensive mess. 22 mil$ to Farley, think about that while your friends and neighbors continue to get terminated.

Of course they knew. Mark Fields wanted to fight the plan and was ousted. Moonbeam had a history of overseeing job cuts and got the ball rolling. JF is here to finish the job and then ride into the sunset with millions so he can go be a pretend racecar driver. Bill gets to save face with his Michigan and US political friends. "I just went along with what the Jims wanted!"

Ford is the Titanic 2. You can either jump ship now or go down with it. The ship has already hit the iceberg called Globalism.

Not all Ford salaried employees work in Dearborn
There are other sites like Livonia for P/T Eng and Mfg, Romeo proving grounds , Ford vehicle Assembly plants, Powertrain facilities spread across US.
Why don’t you take a break instead of letting your imagination run wild ?
