Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Branch Managers /Retail Banking support where are you?

It's seems that most Branch Managers are busy spending time outside (recreational meetings) or coaching and not helping clients while CRC (sweatshop employees) are overwhelmed and overworked.

Where is the support? Is US Bank ploy to not help with FTE and make these CRC's quit? What are Assistant Branch Managers doing? They aren't helping anyone and rarely helping anyone. Aren't they suppose to be CRC? They don't want or know how to help clients so they don't.

Who is in charge of retail banking? Are they busy playing golf? CA is a mess can't speak for the other states.

I'm a BM and can tell you that 75% of my day is line management and teller line activities while the remaining 25% is coaching, observing and various other tasks. All of which are deemed "my job" according to leadership. Also, we don't have ABMs any more (for many years now) So, I'm sorry it's not that way where you are in CA but in other parts of the bank we hold it all together.

Why aren't all branches open on Saturdays?! Clients are complaining and leading to bad service scores for the branches who are open cause they are mad they have to drive far out of there way.

St louis market is hiring like crazy because they cant keep anyone. Managers in useless mtgs all the time. Like seriously wtf needs to be talked about all the freaking time. Oh wait...cobrowse..cobrowse..and did I mention cobrowse. Like stf up about it already.

Don't forget wealth. We have frat boys as direct reports that couldn't lead a child across the street with a keg run first. Super unprofessional. Nepotism hiring at. Its finest. I heard Union Bank had some professional leaders in wealth. Sad the bank wasn't smart enough to do an assessment before they let them go.
