Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

Security Sales

We continue to fall further and further behind the industry. Every single competitor is growing double digits and our growth is stagnant at best and trending towards negative growth. Layoffs have to be on the horizon.

Step 1: Make a compelling product
Step 2: Teach the partners/customers why it is compelling
Step 3: Help demonstrate the values, while contrasting to what is in the market

Interrupt 1: Dont have a compelling product? Goto 10
Interrupt 2: Partners/Customers cannot comprehend your value since your TME are really slick salesepeople in drag? Goto 10
Interrupt 3: Cannot demonstrate due to no labs or funding - and try to play a camtasia? Goto 10

10 Just smile and realize the only people you need to convince of your excellence is the people above you who have no clue.
11 Wait for promotion.
12 Wait for layoff, or external job offer that will be better.

Repeat flow chart.

@ldp+1nsK8nD0 Name one security competitor where they can flee to where they won’t cover a portfolio of at least the same size.

The Specialist TSAs are going away. They are getting moved into the rest of the portfolio so expect a mass exodus of TSAs as many do not want the entire security portfolio.
