Does anyone have information on them closing the Oriskany office? Have heard lot of rumors, some folks say their managers have confirmed - other managers aren’t saying anything even when asked. Have heard closing in around 9 months and you can try to get a job in Lake Mary or Pittsburg but you can’t move to based at home.

I’m so confused. People from Oriskany were posting four years ago here that Charlie warned that he would close it in 4 years. Now 4 years later people are saying that Oriskany is closing. Nobody that I know ever even heard of an Oriskany office before they started posting about Charlie.
Good lord. This poster keeps starting these d-mb threads. At no point did anyone say Oriskany was closing. And it’s not hundreds of people who work there. Three buildings were combined into one. You do the math SMH
@4mmi, my point IS that the date doesn't exist. Charlie never said anything about Oriskany much less that it was closing.
Uh, yeah… they’re scaling it down prior to closing. Oriskany employees posted this news here 3 or 4 years ago when Charlie first announced it. You can review past threads here but it’s tedious.
You shouldn’t be giving flippant comments or providing dates that don’t exist (9/31/23) when we are discussing hundreds of people facing potentially losing their jobs. If you don’t have facts or a true response keep it to yourself.
Charlie did not give an exact date to us 3 or 4 years ago when he gave a heads up that this was not immediate, but guidance for 3 or 4 years out. I’m glad that I recalled his warning and found myself a great job after a relaxing job search. I do feel sorry for those who forgot or blew it off.

And yet we now know the date… 2/17/24. sounds like Charlie was spot on.

Closing February 2024.
Given the fact that 75% of the building is empty on any given day it would be logical for them to want to close it.
There's some bozo on here that keeps claiming Charlie said it was closing. I think it's the same dude who's in love with his uncle todd.
