Anyone received the notification for surplus in mobility?

Mobility Sales - client executives, sales managers, account managers,and others across all the orgs should start receiving notices around 7/14-7/17 with the goal to be off payroll by Aug -01. Between Aug and Sept there will be some additional reductions and job shuffling as the goal is to have the new structure in place by 9/1 and over the next several weeks Wire-line Sales is gearing up for a significant reduction in staff and that this segment will be heavily impacted-do not know if the timing will align to the mobility restructuring but it would make sense.
I thought ACE org layed off 1000 in March. How many more? Is he laying off from higher ups? We’re hearing techs, L1s, 2s & 3s…

I was surplused today. Sambar’s org took quite a hit. Don’t know a count though. HR told managers not to let people know that a surplus is coming.
As for those that will be notified to move, AT&T would rather pay you severance to be gone than to keep you and pay your relocation expenses.
