Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Wells Fargo has the best jumbo mortgage rates, and it isn’t close.

JPMC is fairly close on purchase deals, but WF still about 0.125% lower in rate. Wells blows away BofA and Citi unless their clients have strong relationships with them.

And Wells is MUCH much better on Refis, including cash out.

Wells is still the king of jumbo mortgage.

This is a no sh*t sherlock comment. It's perfectly aligned with the game plan announced earlier this year, cater to the well heeled high net worth and the underserved communities - polar opposites. The problem is, what is Wells doing for the underserved? Absolutely nothing! Anyone with half a brain could see this was a thinly veiled plan to benefit Chuckles' country cronies and don't even leave crumbs for the underserved minorities. Back to work peons!

It doesn't matter when Charlie advertises that we aren't going to do mortgages any more and throws business away.

has not been my experience in the past, even accounting for employee discounts I always did much better going through a broker for my jumbos

What difference does it make? As soon as Hudson Yards finds out they'll move to shut it down anyway.

so it seems like Wells only wants to do mortages for the wealthy guys. Wonder what that does to its ESG score?

Wells Fargo does no customer any financial favors. We’re getting in their knickers in some way- either bait & switch, high fees, unauthorized fees, miscalculating payments - I’ll put money on it.

So what? Everyone also knows Wells Fargo can’t be trusted and must be broken up. They will sc--w over the customer over loan servicing or fees the first opportunity they get!
