Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Team Cohesion is not a leader responsibility????

I have studied this in college, learned from my mentors, and have experienced myself that team cohesion starts from leadership....yet there is a Verizon class today stating the opposite...the topic from"GTS Culture" is that cohesive Teams are a Team's responsibility. It's so sad that leadership doesn't have responsibilities for the success, growth, and cohesion for their employees any longer. Leaders get to wash their hands of everything.

@1trn+1ntbjYgw This is an old established business with established teams that have already been 'norming and performing for years - that is until the new globalist leadership and board selected by Blackrock and Vanguard decided that collectivism and commoditizing our flagship products would be better for humanity - and more importantly, their bank accounts and egos.

So nah, so go ahead and tuck Tuckman back where one-ply won't wipe him away.

I'm sorry, but you don't understand Tuckmans Ladder. If a business embraces agility, it will understand conflict amongst the team is natural. The leader is only responsible for outcomes, but the team has to handle conflict amongst themselves. If the team members in conflict reach a point beyond the limit, then the leader engages. What you're ascribing to is micromanagement.

There are no leaders left in verizon, only money hungry id--ts and leeches who live on our achievements.
