Ford delivered only 9,757 Lightnings in that period.

Lightning production met volume targets at launch without issue. Engineers did their job but the targets were cr-p.
isnt it ironic that ford the mass production expert is getting lapped by upstarts? i would have bet money that tesla would never be able to ramp up production so fast. good thing i didnt. its 1980 japanese small cars all over again. embarassing.
Need I point out that Lightning is not our latest and greatest foot forward in the BEV space? Current Lightning is not even a genuine Model e product!
Just wait until Project T3 is debuted and released to the public. Rivian will be #2 at best.

All that quality training and layoffs should prevent any future recalls.
Production of the Lightning was down fo5 weeks due to the battery issue and also for plant upgrades (I think). Should not be an issue for the second half of the year.

I am glad I am not in model e. Lower bev volume will affect their bonus based on the way their bonus targets.
Just wait till Rivian has to recall most of them back for a major fix. Then watch the stock go straight downhill.
Investors loved Rivian today, just a few more days like this their market cap will exceed that of the F150, which is all of Ford’s value.
