"Wearing pants again is going to be an adjustment."

Most days, I'm doing well to have pajamas on while I work. I'm generally clothing optional. I have a story about that involving unintended exposure but I think I won't share it here. Fortunately, I did not get fired.

so drive in not bad less than 10-15min... but long hours here most gone at normal times, seen a few ex co-workers i hadn't seen in 10+ years, but RTO a collaboration effort, naw not fooling anyone with that narrative..

cry rooms were all full with very long lines, some even had a sign-up sheet for future cryings. cuddle puppies had all grown into adult dogs and weren't falling for the b s anymore. So many people trying to figure out which happy hour to attend they had to collaborate and make a huge spreadsheet to show everyone's bar recommendation. Then all the "reply all" emails started flowing, then it was time for lunch. very long lines to get out of the parking lot to meet for lunch, some did not show back up after lunch. several people missed their mother and called them several times to make sure they had not reclaimed the basement.

I believe that there is value in being intentional about meeting with your peers and allowing the opportunity for spontaneous and impromptu meetings. However, what is happening now is not collaboration. Individuals on teams are often not able to be near one another or even on the same floor. In my opinion, if your status is an office worker, you should not need to wonder where or if you’ll have a place to sit. It was good to see faces that I haven’t seen in a while but I’m not convinced that this is going to be better for the company.

The plan was for 50% of you all to quit not actually show up. You are all part of the reason surpluses are coming.

Stellar results so far! Bathroom cam transmissions from core sites is coming in clearly, and russian perverts have at least 5 times the footage so far to view.

"Rousing success! The collaboration exceeded all expectations. My productivity increased by at least 7%"

So I'm reading your post at 8:15 pm CT and the log states it was posted 6 hours ago which would be at 2:15 PM CT, or 3:15 PM ET, or even earlier if Mountain/Pacific time, which means you're still working. So what are you doing posting to this site if your supposed to be working? You're stealing company time. Keep your "Rousing success!" to yourself until you get off of work.

"Wearing pants again is going to be an adjustment."

I wear shorts when I go into the office. I'll do pants come October.

Wearing pants again is going to be an adjustment.

You wore pants? Dang, no wonder I was getting side eye in the break room. I thought they just were trying to read the captions on my Southpark boxers.

It was nice to feel part of something bigger again. WFH can be so isolating.

RTO allowed me to check out the kind of talent AT&T is really hiring these days. I have to say....business attire for the ladies is lit. Already made a lunch date that ended up back at my virtual office. This is how Office Space says its supposed to be. Thank You Stankey! Moral is going way up.

Clearly we have assigned managers posting BS company-line fluff to this forum. Sad. Stock has some more dropping to do I think, if we still have money to spend shilling random anon websites.

I am back in Plano, it's OK. We'll get used to it. The restrooms need to be better airconditioned (it's 10 degrees F warmer inside). Also, it's just weird to see so many people at one place. My group is still largely remote so everyone is on call, so I am thinking what's the point.

Plano was a dumpster fire. No parking, work spaces reserved for the next 3 months. Just went back home.

Complete bullsh-t. You cannot reserve beyond 14 days. There must a lot more around here like you, those that upvoted your post.

Surprised to see so many folks in the office with so much time to talk and gossip. Stankey is on to something, bring people back to the office to ensure real money is not spent. Great way to control the cash flow and give back to Wall Street.

No issue in midtown. Big spread this AM of pastry.

Friend in Alpharetta reports office was busy, some leaving after just a couple of hours. He forgot to check in so he lost his workstation. Had to sit at a high top with no monitor. He said some sitting in break room. Neither sound like the ergonomic set up we were taught in our required PLE course

No parking issue at either location
