The company should cut off all phone services to the bunch pushing the latest tale of te---r to the press. That would likely bring an end the market gaming going on around the issue.

Turn them off! No phone! No Internet. It will take years to get through the courts and they will starve by then.

I hope there's a class action lawsuit to compensate field techs that work with lead for the past 50 years

If it were not for the field techs, landline , VZB , Wireless there would not be a Verizon . All the keyboard work on the world is worthless without field techs.

I thought the union bloated landline dinosaur carried the rest of the business though? That is what the unioners whine about daily.

I don't see what the problem is. Organize teams of union workers... the "best and brightest" (if ya catch my drift). Give em a box of cloth masks (safety first). Send em in to do the work and disposeof the lead. Bada Bing! Problem solved!
The tree huggers are off our back. We look like heroes. It gives the union something to do (they've been complaining about no work). There's no downside.

I don’t think selling off Verizon’s land lines would absolve liability. They would still be liable. Joint and severally liable.

All splicers unite, join the class action lawsuit

This will cause Verizon to spin off- sell landlines side to minimize liability.
