Thread regarding Ford layoffs

We put all our eggs in the BEV basket. Now we are going to lose $5 billion in BEV in 2023!

We bet the farm, and lost.

Now what?

First, more bloodletting. Expect the next round (this month or next) to be deep and wide.

Second, the stock price will continue to plummet. Heading towards sub $12 now. Where will the bottom be? $7? $5? $0?

Third, heads at the top will have to roll. Bill. Jim. Doug. The board needs to insist they go.

All that might be too little too late. How many new EVs do we have in the hopper? With current EV demand levels they are destined for failure.

Simple. Open a blue oval diner and serve scrambled eggs all year long. LMAO!

The breaking eggs to make an omellette post is correct. This is part of the great reset and the great reset revolutionaries are totally cool with destroying a lot of stuff to achieve their omellette making goals.

Be like Tesla was the manta in 2005..who remembers the engineers who left at the time. Now 20 yrs later still no significant EV volume. Imagine if automakers/gvnt pushed EVs in 1950 and still by 1970 no significant results.

No way the Ford family gives up their preferred shares for a bailout. They'll burn it to the ground first.

Government mandates to the rescue!

Crony capitalism (i.e. not free-market capitalism) will save the elites.

You have to break a few eggs to make an omelette

The BEV market is now saturated and all the OEMs are dropping billions into a losing bet. The market is 7% and the OEMs are installing capacity far more than 7%.

Bill's head will never roll. He's made of teflon and nothing sticks. Besides, whats the alternative for chairman..... Elena? Alexis? Henry? Strike 1, 2 and 3.
