L3 Harris technologies has not publicly announced closing the Carlsbad facility. But that's not unusual. On paper, they are probably still hiring. This corrupt company will close down facilities with little or no notice. It's what they do. The engineers that are being laid off in Texas are walking away empty-handed. Retirees are seeing their benefits rescinded. Even unionized employees are having their contracts breached. Numerous class action suits involving 401ks and unfair labor practices are being filed. They will endure every legal action that comes their way except the one they deserve the most, criminal prosecution.
