Thread regarding Ford layoffs

This latest round of PR fun seems to be "justify your existence for the LL4" or "what have you done for me lately".

HR, this SH#T is getting tiring.

@zvj In the past I would of disagreed with you as the wrong 50% would inevitably be cut. But since Ford leadership and BCG systematically cut all the true SME and most productive and talented employees, it won’t matter that much to the company which 50% are cut. Let’s make sure that 50% extends to leadership and Ford of India.

Note I said it won’t matter to the company, yes there will be a price to be paid by those who are cut.

I didn't get mine in because I was busy doing my job, and some others jobs too. I'll do it Monday, but we'll see. I received 0.0 information/reminders from any leadership, just a couple of the HR emails.

If it has a negative impact on me in any way, that will be the last straw. I will be actively seeking employment elsewhere.

HR - obviously nobody is working here. They actually tell you they are looking elsewhere. Just fire them. Get rid of 50%. Quit playing around with these "small" downsizings every year or so.

HR - there are active rumors of layoffs (firings) in September - make it real -- Get rid of 50% of these people -- MINIMUM 50%. It won't hurt productivity at all. Ford will need the money for the union negotiations anyway.
