Thread regarding Ford layoffs

I have no idea what to expect in mid year performance review

I haven't been told explicitly I am doing bad but I don't get much praise either.

Do they tell you "hey you are doing bad and are under performing"?

I am planning to just put a whole bunch of stuff in terms of what I have worked on and hope for the best.

Completely depends on your ‘people leader’ and how they provide or don’t provide feedback. Completely subjective…
I fully expect a bad mid year and I wonder if it’s a set up for lay offs… really struggling with whether I care or not

Your LL6 May or may not tell you. Most LL6’s don’t like conflict and are unqualified to manage people. Go with what your gut is telling you. Is your LL6 ignoring you? Are you being included in meetings? Are you given assignments? How does your LL6 treat you compared to the other employees? My opinion is your LL6 is giving you the cold shoulder and doesn’t like you so that is why you are asking. If this is the case, you will be on the next round of layoffs and your LL6 doesn’t want the conflict. You need to start job hunting outside Ford ASAP.
