Ford IT notified contract firm that tomorrow will be the last day for some contractors. Not sure if some areas are getting an early start on cuts or if this is just the new status quo - Quarterly/Monthly cuts.
For Ford it was all about the restructure of Field jobs. No cuts. Going back to how it was pre August 22 basically. Actually adding heads.
Personally I have never seen Ford Motor Company in this bad of a shape aka black clouds in my past 32 years as a white collar employee. Every management decision is failing on all fronts. And zero awesome products coming out in the next few years. Nothing worth buying means No sales and consumers leaving the Ford brand for ever.
@OP is correct. Lots of private meetings seen on calendars this week for no good reason. Bad sign of things to come for us lower ranking people. Blood 🩸 bath will be severe. But Glad to see Ford stock price crash and drop today. I hope it goes down to $5 a share so it will force JF 🤡 to be fired by angry shareholders. His silly EV road trip is ridiculous! He acts like a 5th grader CEO!

There were stealth cuts in IT recently. Stealth cuts happen right before larger cuts, there were stealth cuts in April and May and then June the larger cuts took place.
Bad sign.
There are always lots of meetings. Sounds like a normal work day.
