Vz folks, hang onto your savings. Blue Jeans and managed services are the tip of a melting iceberg. The company is significantly over in opex and this is one early way to improve the financials. Next are RIFs in 3Q and 4Q.

Honestly, expect the worst with RIFFs every quarter, hope for the best that we do well enough that there isn't one.
RIFs coming in October. We kind of always have that, but we are for sure this year.
I doubt you’ll see anymore rifs this year or next with the work load booming.
@2zyo+1o3RF1oc considering that September 30 is the end of Q3 and they give you 30 days notice, notification would have to be by the end of August to make Q3. I personally don't believe there will be a big one Q3. Maybe Q4 or Q1 2024.
If there is a 3Q RIF would notification go out in August or September?
Big RIF’s coming in ops and engineering. It will be in 2 waves. Volunteer if you are close to retirement and get a package while you can. It’s over folks.
Remember when VZ bought Telogis, and AT&T was one of their biggest users?
Yeah, that spawned AT&T Connect REAL quick!
Management package please! I want out so bad I can feel it in my bones.

"It's OP - fearmonger extraordinaire!!!"
- Not sure if it's fear mongering if the information given is accurate and the prediction is on trend with the recent and historical events and decisions...
I think we can all agree that outsourcing the entire MNS, RIF'ing customer service, shutting down/firing the entire Blujeans group, RIFs every quarter spread out among other groups, and a stock price cut in half is evidence enough that this isn't a very optimistic situation and will more than likely continue to trend in that direction...
It's @OP - fearmonger extraordinaire!!!
Telematics, which should have been a core competency has been nothing but an underperforming loser because is was purchased from without and not made from within.
I am surprised that they have not outsourced the garages to Johnson Controls. I
What amazes me is that the states and the feds are allowing this company to be slowly dissolved by foreigners despite being the backbone and last mile for a lot of confidential and critical traffic.
They will sell Telematics division next.
Sooner the better. I hope bottom line on dividends will improve. ,)
