Thread regarding Ford layoffs

How does Ford vet it's leadership team?

How do we get a Plant Manager who has filed personal bankruptcy? If they can't manage their own finances, how can they possibly be trusted to make the sound decisions required to run a major plant? I need to work a few more years, hope we make it!

@1xgq+1o3yNHK7: If this is the best leadership team in the business, how is it that Ford is at the bottom for quality, losing billions of dollars while competitors are profitable, etc., etc., etc. Leadership 101 is to not talk bad about your people in public, so when JF says we don't have the right people, how does that inspire?

1xgq+1o3yNHK7 For the record BF was CEO of Ford Motor between 01-06. He was basically fired by his family or they threated to dump their shares of the private or preferred stock. Again this is public knowledge.
So far his comments hold no credibility. Just because his name is on the side of the building does not mean he knows what he is doing. recent example the TRAIN STATION..
As one poster put it.. he is in no way to be confused with the company founder...He reminds us of another family business heir.. PARIS HILTON.

As for JF.. What has he done since he has been at Ford? He claims to be the smartest man in the room. But we have lost market share and left car segments to our competition since boy wonder has hired in.

Sorry to crack the glass Kool aid pitcher but no one takes BF / JF Or DF serious. Otherwise the stock would be on par with Toyota another family run company that has a plan a vision and solid leadership. Not the circus Ford currently has.

Ford management team has lost the trust of the workers. No realistic vision or Plan just fluff is not going to carry the company. The recent F150 lightning videos on Realtime customer usage demonstrates how that team dropped the ball.
Still trying to make the F-Series into a luxury sedan instead of a utility vehicle.

LMAO @1xgq+1o3yNHK BF also claimed Professor Moonbeam was a genius and the best CEO ever. And then canned him and installed boy genius JF and began claiming he was the best CEO. Everyone knows BF is just cheerleading and there isn’t sound evidence to back up the statements.

The leadership got ivermectin when they went to the vet because it works.... and you had to take the vax that gives 17 year old athletes heart attacks.

Those are my thoughts for today on vetting of the leadership team.

Our leadership team is one of the best in the business. Thus OP's question is not at all relevant. Bill Ford has stated that the company's current leadership is the best he has seen in the company's history. I don't know why people here keep forgetting that.

By “vet” I hope it’s a good deworm followed by a spay/neuter. “Bob Barker here, remember to help control the exec population.”

It’s because Ford is heading into bankruptcy and they want someone who has experience! It makes total sense!
