Current market cap $160 bn, that’s after $35bn buybacks since 10/2019, and another $30 bn announced in July 2023. price to book hovers around 1.0x dipping below 1.0x at times. Numbers don’t lie.

@rzw+1o41H6Ua you must really be out of your element if you think CPAs read stock charts. That's like saying police officers fight fires.
One of my favorite things to do is drink vodka all night at the casino.
Am sure CS negotiated at time of,hiring that he needs grace on stock price for a period of time while he “transforms” the bank. Just how long the leash is though is the question. 4 years into his tenure and 5 into the cap, no end in sight.
I dunno, I’m going to buy some stock now, for a while. The street loves layoffs.
Can you help us understand how we should interpret that? My non-CPA conclusion is that our stock price is substantially artificially propped up by the company stock buybacks?
