Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

What are you doing with Anniversary Marker Lapels?

What are you all doing with your anniversary marker lapel pins? Are you proudly wearing them?

I put up mine on eBay but damn lapels can't find any buyers willing to pay and buy it. Perhaps I need to donate it or action it away to UW campaign. Lol. What a worthless item. Only Exxon HR can think of such genius anniversary markers that don't have any value and doesn't mean much to many who get them.

When I left Baton Rouge for good, I drove down Scenic Hwy one last time, and threw my two anniversary pins over the refinery fence.

Why all the hate for them being made in China? They’re nice. Those child slaves do good work.

I lost faith in the company when I saw who they hire, retained, and promoted over the last few years. A bunch dirtbags who threw others under the bus, opportunists, and blood su-king leeches who are not employable elsewhere but hanging on to what little position of power they think they have. After all the suffering these people caused, they are quickly hopping off the low carbon bandwagon as quickly as they hop on.

If people were proud of working for the company and valued this lapel pins they would wear it with pride and show up everyday wearing it. Haven't seen any of those loyalists yet (even those opportunists) hashtagging weareexxonmobil all over social media, so it may not be a popular perk working for the company that keep repeating with pride, weareexxonmobil.

Guess this is one of the great benefits that the company hasn't cut in name of cost savings. Pins made in China can't be that expensive to be affordable I guess.

Gift it to KM, DW, or TG. I am sure they would appreciate the Gold plated Lapels.
