I don't work there but been following these threads for the past few weeks. My heart aches for those that will be losing their jobs. None of this is fair. Not surprised to see this happening. Godspeed folks.

According to the disgruntled LL4 I know, it's going to be ALL departments. Farley has a % he wants to hit. He also has a minimum each department must hit.

It's going to make August 2022 look like child's play.

Any chance people will share what departments they are hearing this talk about cuts, volumes and dates? I don’t dispute the information, but it add some credibility when more information is shared.

Unfortunately I heard from an LL4 that it will be >4,000 in USA. So I have many negative emotions about too. And I will NEVER EVER buy another Ford product ever again. 🤡 CEO JF can sc--w himself! Alan Mullally never would have resorted to this type of cr-p!

atleast three thousand will be canned...there are lot of issues with evs and sales are sluggish due to interest rates.

To “white and female”… being white and female does not make you safe. I’m white and female and was let go. I have several friends in the same demographic who were also let go. Being a top performer doesn’t make you safe. Being in a job family that has open positions that are difficult to fill does not make you safe. Some that I thought would be safe because of performance, skill and talent were let go so I’m not sure if “safe” exists.

I attended an all-hands townhall today in my org and he did talk about separations and how sad but necessary they are. He did not say we are done with them. No mention of 9-25-23, but, no mention anyone is safe either.

Demeanor tells a lot, now I have no doubt more cuts are coming this month for Dearborn.

Way to go Ford! Keep our morale high and mighty

Yes, Ford HR in India is preparing the salary firing planning/packages/documentation now for the next 2 weeks for the massive 9/25-28 USA white collar separations coming up end of this month. Good luck everybody. Michigan will be hit hard.

It won't matter much. Even if you survive it, you could get cut in another round (which will be at least quarterly).
