I haven’t been on this site for months and it’s done wonders for my mental health. I only came today because I heard about the truist layoffs which led me to the wells layoffs.
Of course nobody knows which departments are subject to layoffs at either companies. Let’s face it, The rise in interest rates has also slowed down real estate both commercial and residential. Which is to say things are getting bad for everyone.
Also, we spent a whole couple years screaming our jobs could be done from everywhere and we didn’t think they’d try to get workers overseas ? Nobody knows what’s going on and lurking on this site will just cause increased anxiety. Just vibe out and if you think your department is at risk of going under…start looking elsewhere. Control your own destiny
Oh and if you’re someone who used to work here and still lurks around….get a life and twinkle. Your kids are talking to 40 year olds on Roblox and trying fentanyl for the first time. You do not need to be worried about your past employer…weirdo
