@1nyv Seriously, we have 3rd party door to door sales reps selling fios. And just because the work to install fios is bargained for you really think nobody can touch fios unless their union. Apparently the union folks are that d-mb.

Where do you work? We're getting tons of OT. Thankfully we can no longer be forced since it's after Labor Day. I'm getting too old for that nonsense.

At any given time 65-75% of the union workforce is out on disability. OT or no.

Wireless=nonunion cannot sell a product like fios which is bargained and belongs to wireline = union. That is why you can't sell it as union reps would be selling it. The VP said no because they know they cannot. How can people work for a company and not understand the rules?

I heard that an initiative to allow Wireless to sell Fios was denied by the VP. Even though it would bring in a ton of revenue. Not sure what that means but seems odd.

Almost all new local managers that were hired have quit.

Some areas the fios build is pretty much done. Other areas they are expanding fios. And then some areas they are focused on FWA. That's why posts differ about how much work there is. It all depends on where you are located.

Customers being pushed onto voice connect in copper areas. I had a ticket recently, it said customer refused Voice connect. I also have a voice connect install today. Probably someone that could not install themselves.

Here's the skinny. If your union you have a contract in place that's good till August 2026 no changes. If your a manager just apply elsewhere your very dispensing and RIFS here are quarterly. So if you love having your job dangled in front of you every 3 months of your career here. Feel free apply go for it.
