60 something here with a recent birthday. I’m accepting belated gifts…. Please give me my walking papers, otherwise I will resign mid March of 2024
I am remote a patiently waiting. So tired of the politics and restructuring occuring and I don't have the attitude to keep doing this. And if they create one more Jira board to "track" our work, sometimes I have 3 different ones which need to be updated for one item, I am going to lose my s**t.
We all got canned today in mortgage
My friend Sam was laid off. Gonna miss that cat, bummer.
5 remote Maryland employees were laid off today.
in "control" .. job moving to India, no room for me.
Counting casualties like we are in a war zone, sounds terrible. Unlike Carrie T, most of us don't get a golden parachute... something is not right.
Me. Over a decade tenure… not entirely unexpected but still an odd feeling.
What a load of $###. Best of luck in your next adventure, you deserve great things.
Would-be lifer here in COO/SSO who got canned this morning after 20+ years. KK making good on her promise several weeks back to axe all remote workers.
I was displaced. Des Moines HL.
An entire mortgage quality team in Roanoke was let go today
I got canned
West coast should be getting their calls within the hour
To any naysayers out there, there are layoffs today. Control Teams are being talked to. It probably won't be big per normal Wells Fargo layoffs, but they are happening today. Teams from Charlotte, Des Moines, New Jersey, and DFW.
Where are all the Charlotte area layoffs today? (Ballantyne, Fort Mill. Uptown)
Just got canned
What time of day does the invite get sent? I'm expecting it, but might be in October.
Which part of COO Operations?
Best of luck to you. I'm here waiting for my day to come like death row.
Finally I got mine today. Part of COO Operations. I should be blocked by noon time. Have till then to be gone. No instructions on what to do with equipment but since I'm in office today I will leave it with security. I WILL be a day drinker today. Halleluiah! I was in the office today but was displaced on a zoom call even though my boss is in the same city. Coward.
Another chicken little post on here.
Come get me and take me away. I will take my 60 days plus 40 weeks
I've started to notice that a significant number of layoffs are occuring on days that are not the usual "Tuesday after a payday" timeline. Anyone else seeing this in their area? Looks like a shift in tactics, probably to increase the pace of the displacement operations.
Please let it be me.
WIM positions are on the block this go-round. The rest of mortgage will be in October. By December I predict a merger.

What's the reasoning for 10/3?
Probably me.
We can only hope the clowns at the top, CS and SP will be canned.
Big day will be 10/3
