Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

RCSA Contract Role

So i’ve seen multiple emails regarding immediate hiring for RCSA contract roles for 52.00-60.00 an hour. Do not accept this rate; they are desperate for help bc all their FTE’s have quit or are burned out. Listen do not accept anything less than 75.00. The travel and hours required 150k is the bare minimum anyone should be paid for this level of abuse. Do Not and I repeat take this bc I promise you the bill rate has to be at least 100 an hour.

Glad I quit! Most of the Managers and officers working RSCA didn't know anything! Oh let's not even talk about that sh*t system they use....

They didn’t lay people off from RCSA Phase I in CSBB. People either left the company that got sick of it or stayed and returned to their jobs. Do people just make up information here and post it?

my suggestion if you are on a FST, on specialized project find another job in the spring after bonuses are cut, otherwise you will be in the unemployment line come Summer/Fall. this is not to scare anyone but I really hate how much you all have worked and been mistreated only to be rewarded with a thank you and a pink slip. it’s a horrible thought but it will be a reality. get out

Post ID: @ano+1oJj01fk I just came off RCSA as I found another job. They gave us a special working agreement saying we were 100% dedicated to RCSA with an end date of 6/30/24. my thought is once that date hits people will be let go. reason is their actual teams have functioned without them for at least 2 years. why would i keep them on payroll. doesn’t make any sense. now he’s rcsa will continue but you won’t need 300+ people bc the process will already be defined. you can do that with 25 people. trust me the other 275 will be cut after working like a dog for 2 years.

@ano here

I am an employee. RCSA is an issue here because it is manual, the process keeps changing, and the goal is to pass a random board rather than get it right. It doesn’t have to be this bad.

RCSA doesn’t end in June 2024. Many RAUs continue at least through the summer. Then, they go into annual processes. Whether people working these jobs will be retained afterwards is anyone’s guess.

PwC has mainly rolled off.

Workshops are mainly virtual and very few are in person in most areas. People participate from wherever they are based, not just CLT.

Many working in these roles are frustrated but doing their best. I am one of them. It means long hours, constantly changing requirements, and a lot of pressure. We need the help and support.

I didn’t ask for this role, but the job market su-ks.

Post ID: @prg+1oJj01fk he will not have a job to come back to; trust me all of these people will be cut Jun 24. why would they bring you back: your team has functioned almost 2 full calendar years without you. if i’m looking at letting 200-300 people go per dept/team it’s the easiest cut to make

If you want to work on RCSA just apply to PwC because those Senior Analysts are getting paid 160K per year. If you take a contract role you will be paying for travel with your own credit card. They no long provide food so that will also come out of your pocket if you are local. Most of the phase II workshops are in CLT so that is most likely going to be uptown and you will pay for parking. Workshop hours are 7AM to like 7PM.

Do not accept an RCSA contract role unless you are desperate. Most certainly not at $50 per hour. You will be on a team of people making 150K plus per year if they have a senior lead title or higher.
