Medical Accommodations

I’m seeing some comments here that medical accommodations have become more difficult to get. I have one (permanent) in place from 2017 which was not difficult to get (mainly because my Dr. knows the law and is well respected). Now 6 years later my medical condition has progressed and become significantly more limiting. I can still do 100% of my role, just not in the office and I need to request 100% wfh. I have the same doctor as the previous accommodation. Any feedback from anyone who has gone through this process recently?

Instated my problem stated when I was 13 and well, I’m quite a lot older than that now. In short if you have a genuine need it will get approved (mine did). The are weeding out covid milingerers.

Do not feel obligated to sign a medical records release form- and make sure you only provide required information (they ask for way more than they are entitled to). Basically, know your rights, and familiarize yourself with what they legally need to make an informed decision.
