It involves a shadow mercenary outfit that bends the ear and will of these countries with NOCs who hold the oil. We infiltrate at all levels, help them to woke (sorry) I mean wake up and see that they should let us run in to run the projects for x10 the CAPEX and we never actually pay any tax or help the counties, as we are endlessly recovering our investment.

The problem with this industry is that at this price point there is no incentive to take on risky prospects, plus the US is running out of profitable basins to explore in. It is getting more and more difficult to organically grow an oil and gas company. It takes good seismic to explore and how many seismic crews are running in the US? Maybe two. Also, the NOC's have over 80% of the world's reserves tied up. Not looking good for the home team.

Then find another industry or career that's not so horrible, if you're capable what's the holdup? Don't let the door hit you on the way out! If this is the best that you can do and get then be grateful that you are employed with good health insurance and count your blessings. That's what I would do.

H2 can be made in other countries and they don’t have to deal with the CO2. For this reason alone no major will ever be the dominant player in H2.

Round-trip efficiency for green H2 is 32% vs renewables to batteries of 90%. Nat. gas to H2 creates more CO2 emissions. H2 as an energy storage medium will work for a small subset of the energy demand (like energy-intensive businesses). It will not be the majority of supply and somehow save oil companies. Margins for H2 will also be smaller than oil.

Hydrogen is our future. We will consume our natural gas reserves to create CO2 and H2 thus creating a market while virtue signaling. With all the energy conversions reducing overall efficiencies, we will create shortages and drive up prices and profits. The potential is enormous.
