They’ll lay off agency/ps at that time like they always do. That’s nothing new.

Read the quarterly results. When you see entries on there to do with 'workforce restructuring' or similar like we saw in q1 this year and q3 last year, there may be some merit to the noise that you spew. Until then, put a sock in it and go touch yourself to pictures of Jim Farley

Just had a big round of cuts in June. Likely nothing happening until end of Q1 2024.

I don’t recall there ever being salaried layoffs in Nov or Dec.

Can we quit these BS posts until there is actual proof of something valid and worth worrying about?

Not sure of November, but most certainly there will be big salaried layoffs before Christmas break.

This is Ford we're talking about. Do you g you actually think management will pass up a end of year season without a big one to kiss up to wall street and pad bonuses for themselves? Get real.

My sincerest condolences to all the colleagues who were laid off the week of September 25th.

@ ahd+1oQOPYMp you need to learn to read a balance sheet. Ford has more debt than cash.

The "week of 9/25" prediction was a guess based on statements made to the media by Ford executives and that this week is the end of the 3rd quarter.

Based on the statements to the media and the build-up of engineering resources in Mexico, India, China and Brazil, engineering staff reductions in the U.S. are inevitable as the work is transferred to these places. The only thing that would stop them is a change in powerful political influence.

Based on the trolls from this site, we all should have been laid off 10 times by now.

That hurts. I was laid off in Aug 2022, and again on Sept 25, 2023. I really can't imagine how I'll feel getting laid off in mid November.

There will be no layoffs. Ford has $9.2 billions cash to burn during the next 2 years. You all are ok.

This site used to be pretty accurate with people reporting actual facts that they were privy to. Too many people just here to stir the pot now. Don't believe these reported dates; just always work and keep your resume updated as if it could happen at any time. You will come to a greater peace.
