I am a company retiree, last week I was invited into 1500 lousiana Street office for a chat about a possible techenical role.
I was horrified to see so many people sitting around and playing on social media.
The work ethic seems to have totally gone, shame but then when your so called leadership cannot lead what else can be expected.
P.s. I will not be taking the position

I am the chosen one, the hipottomus of hipots, with high PSGs but low stress. It is cool, hip, and necessary to be in the office, but not necessary to work, its more important to work the floors and break bread at the Starbucks. Fellow retiree. Even during the 2015-2020 purges, you'd still see so many people in the 1500 Cafe all afternoon doing - something? My guess is they were scheduling their next vacations.
Maybe these people sitting around have very little work to do…

Old School, you should take the role, and put the young'uns through some schooling. Who do they think they are fooling! You could negotiate some sweet uplift factors based on smashing out the work, and rake in some serious coin!
