In the immortal words of that great American philosopher and sometime baseball player Yogi Berra, "It ain't over till it's over!"

I imagine that following this year many pension funds will experience some manner of outrage from the mismanagement of their biggest investments and sources of cash flow for retirees.

Because it will be a big election year and more and more of the budget is being taken up by retirees, significant challenges or threats to pension cash flows will likely result in significant reviews and challenges to those responsible for these calamities.

HV will not be conducting the next Annual Meeting and those responsible for woke and broke will be weeded out and ushered out. The widely read Seeking Alpha article on VZ points to significant operational and financial mismanagement.

Seeking Alpha slapped the debt management crew in VZ Finance for replacing old debt with new more expensive debt, while cash flows are shrinking and the Board keeps raising the dividend.

This is clearly the most mismanaged that the company has ever been. From Engineering to Products, to Marketing, to Finance - there is not one competently led group. Before you all downvote, think about it.
