All we interesed is when Hans is leaving Verizon or shown the door, either will work.

@2qrb They can get rid of him unfortunately he would still get his $40M golden parachute.
Contracts are not worth the paper that they are written on and the board is likely going to change soon too. There is a lot of financial malfeasance that has occurred during HVs turn as CEO. His employment contract merely paints some of the parameters of the deal required to get him out. Based on the stock price and malfeasance and the prospect of a new government looking into his sock drawer, HV will be gone before the next annual meeting.

Sampath has to go with him, and so do all of the non-telecom characters that got forced onto the company. Sampath has been bouncing around for years and was saved by OneFiber and the dispatching of Yahoo. He is always just one step ahead of the law and never held accountable for all of the wreckage he leaves in his wake. Sampath has to go along with his mentor.
