Why don’t you do something productive instead of coming here starting arguments ? The class example of how toxic xom has become.

I apologize in advance to my team members because I know there won't be a replacement with my skillset which means the projects will be shut down. But, I just can't take all this garbage anymore. Wood's legacy is accelerating off shoring and cost cutting. Research is cut to the bone. Vendors are raking in the money as EMIT is being culled from the corporation. Supposedly our IT is getting better because of this but we still have the same garbage level of service we had under EMIT. HR is gone and has been replaced by supervisors which is fine since supes are only there to protect the corporation just like HR used to do. Also we're apparently mining lithium now despite our perpetual claims that EVs and renewables won't make a dent in oil profitability. I wonder what the McKinsey power point engineers have convinced management to cut during the upcoming outlook. I'm tired.....

@5set+1oaCyDlk I wouldn't say id--tic, he is definitely not an id--t. And he is definitely not underpaid, believe me. But he is the most incompetent CEO ExxonMobil has ever had. That is for sure. I'm amazed at how fast he was able to destroy a 130 year old company in just five years. He brought down the dominant player in the field to just nothing. We don't need more proof of his incompetence than that. Anyway, the Board of Directors is also useless. They allowed Darren to destroy value for the shareholders. They should also be held accountable. They didn't do their jobs.

I wonder how he sleeps at night. I even wonder what he must be proud of and what he must be proudly telling his friends and families as to what exactly he does in his role at XOM.

DW would go in the XOM history as the most underpaid, id--tic, and incompetent CEO who didn't achieve anything productive in any areas of the company. I mean, this guy keeps reminding us that he is underpaid but what exactly has he done really to even earn the salary that he does get paid. Not a penny worthy uptight and arrogant ahole.

@2pjt Most of the people posting here don’t currently work for Exxon. That part of the user base migrated elsewhere some time ago. What’s left are disgruntled former employees who were let go during the past two years.

Very well said. Going to be really interesting when all that’s left there is these managers with no one left to boss around. Typical character trait of a sup bossing folks around with her entitled air head self. Every post acts like different people and always has to have the last word. Hanging on to Exxon because it’s the best job she ever had and worried that one day she will wake up and it’s gone. No other place will hire her or give her the creds that xom does. Living on easy street talking a good game but has no goods at all.

EM is a dumpster fire. We all know that. More money for the execs, more PIPs for the proles, and maybe no more pension for the younger workers. Everyone comes here hoping to find a shred of info about what’s really going on in the company, to b-*ch a little and let out some frustration that’s built up because the company doesn’t practice what it preaches (good communication and transparency.) Your judgmental comments are getting old.

Leaks are verified hard/soft documentation.

Again, small on information, big on grievance. EM vendors have better and more accurate information than what I see posted here.

As for why I still come here…..you need to figure that out on your own.
