Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

AT&T Benefits Center is 100% Trash

Being routed to India to get very important benefit matters addressed is the absolute worst experience. Constantly being disconnected, extremely sketchy call quality, huge language barrier, stupid-a$$ low-IQ representatives who frankly don't give a sh!t about you or really care much about resolving your issues. Was this your handy work Angela Santone? AT&T should be ashamed of themselves as this is pathetic.

Isn’t it great that benefits is being controlled by an Indian call center. Most important to employees is outsourced.

Couldn’t agree more. Totally incompetent. A waste of space and time calling repeatedly to resolve an issue a trained monkey can handle.

Talk about discriminatory practices, they still have the caste system (A social class separated from others by distinctions of hereditary rank, profession, or wealth), wonder where you are ranked on that scale when calling about your benefits?

In general, there are many humans that would have helped make our delicate planet a better place if they simply weren't born.

The money we give Accenture is insane. Did anyone look at what we pay for system development for just 1 system?

Do execs ever pause to see the millions doled out to internal organizations as a free check book to do what they hear from end user what needs to be done?

Seems an expensive way to operate? Who is at the Accenture/systems helm? I’m guessing not just 1 person and that’s why it’s going unnoticed.

Realize also that the U.S. processes IRS Tax Returns in India.
Can you just imagine how much of our info is being stolen?
As a retiree, we have no benefits. NONE. Evaporated -- Poof which is OK with me, I
just buy from the competition - but processing sensitive Tax Info in India? WoW.

15% of all Indians still commit open defecation in the streets. Granted, San Francisco is much worse but still. Should these people be running the AT&T Benefits Center?

It is insanity that our medical benefits information is housed in India. I spent weeks back and forth trying to straighten out the medical coverage for myself and my wife. You need to ask for a supervisor. What a horrible way to treat employees.
