How will ExxonMobil know if you find employment?

It states you have to notify the company within 3 days of new employment. Health and Welfare plan will remain through the month in which you are actively employed.
Would you keep your health plan and continue paying premium or cancel XOM plan after signing health plan from new employer? Does it provide any insight on new job while still receiving PIP benefits?
They do give a care because its in the PIL document when you sign it.
They will not do anything unless you actively tell them. Who is going to monitor any ex-staff finding a job ? Even if you update LinkedIn, it means nothing, lots of people fake their jobs and titles in social media regardless. Unless you really upset someone in HR and/or Audit, no one cares about you, just to be fair and honest. Like some comments here say, Pretty sure it doesn’t matter though, if you take the PIL and get a new job before 12 weeks have lapsed - that’s just extra $$ in your pocket.
Exxon here! We do not give a f**k. We are just happy you are gone and somebody else has to deal with you.
OP, as long as you leave, resign, die, whatever ExxonMobil doesn't care. DW just wants you out to increase his savings. So, don't think about this too much. Just leave, find yourself another job, and move on. ExxonMobil is a dead company.
Honestly, they don’t care. If they PIP you there is a reason, don’t think too highly or lowly of yourself. You are a number, you will be replaced. It’s sad but true. Everyone is expendable. Even if DW “wins the lottery” , EM continues. Just a fact of life. Get out with dignity, and find the next journey that values you and your loved ones.
