Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

We should hire the leaders of…

  1. the company who sells the elementary-school level annual compliance training classes to Wells Fargo leaders for $Billions, and convinces our leaders that these classes will reduce risk and will be worth taking 200,000 employees out of productivity for 2,000,000 total hours every year.

and

  1. the company who sells kindergarten- level Rally , with fake coin rewards, to Wells Fargo leaders for $Billions (?), and convinces our leaders that the classes will improve employee health, and are worth taking 200,000 employees out of productivity for an unspecified number of total hours per year.

…because their leaders are obviously much smarter than ours.

Compliance training is mandatory, however regulators do not mandate which classes are taken by which employees. Regulators want effective training that works, not a bs blanket check- the-box approach.

Anyone who thinks employees are taking Rally classes “on their down time” is a fool.

The compliance training is mandatory for all bank employees in the US, regardless of which bank. It's a federal law.

The Rally stuff is supposed to be during down-time or your own time, since you're doing it to get extra health money.

Neither costs anywhere NEAR "billions."

Both of these “learning opportunities”, which are force- fed to us, speak to how our executives view their employees. Very insulting to anyone who made it beyond eighth grade. I’m always surprised more people don’t speak up.

Well, for #1, I believe that’s our very own Learning & Development group.

Every year, we select a few leaders to lead by example - by being outsourced or replaced by h1b / opt visa. They will have to train their replacements for a few months before they can receive their severance.

Our leaders like outsourcing, but they do not understand what it is like being middle class.
